New image next to title in showlistings if under a week old

Hi,
What code would i use to place a "New Item" picture next to the item title in showlistings?
I am guessing something like this can be done:
{If add date is in Current date-7 days}
show picture
{else}
Display nothing
{/if}
(Just logicaly thinking)
