Manually approve adds

Hi,

I have just installed classifieds 4.1.2 version, followed the instruction guide to set up all the settings and more and I have my manually approve adds on NO. The problem is when I do a test and want to place an add, it doesn't show up and is registered as Completed Pending Approval!!...which should not be. I suppose it should be like that if I put YES for manually approve adds.

Does anybody has an idea about that? thank you

Is this for a free ad? Or a paid ad with payment set to cheque?

I am testing in local (xampp) and I am testing like it is, with the original set up at step 5, Payment method with just "Check or Money order" and it doesn't show up!

Thats working as intended. Why would you want to display someones ad if you havent been paid yet? If the payment type is check/other then its assumed that once you recieve payment you will go in and change the order status to completed and the ad will be visible.

If you are using an online payment gateway and the client placing an ad goes through checkout and the gateway notifies your site payment has been received it will be immediately visible.

Think of it this way, if you call up a newspaper or magazine and tell them you want to run an ad, they take down the ad details and you tell them you are going to mail them a check, do you think they will print the ad before they get paid?
