3rd Party Authentication - Facebook Connect

Hi,

I want to use third party authentication in addition to 68 Classifieds, starting with Facebook Connect.

However the 68 Classifieds authentication methods aren't particularly clear to me.

Are there individual methods Ican call to do the following?

* set user as logged in in both $SESSION and cookie
* check if a user is logged in
* log out a user

I won't be creating user accounts so obviously there will be a class with id in class_user so I am using a negated Facebook User ID.

On authentication from Facebook Connect should I add an entry to the class_users table (without password) so a Facebook user has somewhere to live?
