I want to thank all of you who helped me and are continuing to help smoothen out some rough spots on the site...and some mods still needing to be made.
The site goes live tomorrow...and wanted to give you all a chance to get in your suggestions.... Basically its a resource info and classified site...so we combined static html pages along with the 68 module... I know it can get a bit busy...but after all...its banner and classified driven! I have placed rotating javascript banners on the index page and the other rotating banners are from Maffo banner Mod... Thank you in advance for honest input! It was exciting to see folks spend their dollars... No but honestly..youu can purchase pet alpacas for $500 and you can purchase high quality pedigrees for $50,000.... Average female is around $18-20,000... Alisa |

Well done alisa, look awesome
google ads look awesome - excelent way of disguising them when i hover over google adds it says error on page - i had that once and the clicks weren't counted, just check to make sure they paying you in the kids corner , which i think is awesome idea, might be good if you get five minutes to put a back button on the page as its for kids, other than that looks great and just to add to the other readers, that is a lot of money to pay for a turner

Hi Jason,
Thanks for the suggestions..I'll look into the googleads... Turner? I am assuming you mean breeder? Not up on Aussie talk :-) as for the pricing....prices here in the US are at least twice as in Australia...due to initial importation screening and quaranteen costs from Peru....from years 1984-1998. I believe it cost an average of $10000 to bring in the original animals from Peru into the US....probably a fraction of that to import into Australia... we no longer import here..since 1998...which has the US holding the highest prices internationally in the industry...and keeping the smaller alpaca breeders capable of holding their prices. We still have a strong growing market with only 100,000 alpacas here. So in comparison..hi end breeding females average $7-8000 where you are... $18-20000 here. Crazy (I know)... and also here in the US...we do not have world market fibre pricing.. our average fibre sells approx... $2-4 per ounce. Great when you get 8-10 pounds off an adult! I can go on forever...sorry...(but at least you now know about Australian alpacas!) Thanks again for a solid critique on the site...just what I needed. Alisa |

well generally we call horses turners, cause they turn good grass into #%$^ (poo) , i was being funny,
there is a little farm about a klm up the road from me that has just sold they had alpacas there, noy sure what the deal with them is, as for the rest i have no idea about importing of alpacas but getting any othe live stock into this country is like a someone walking up to the whitehouse and asking for a green card,
