It's been some time since I've seen a thread with the customer's wish list so I thought I'd just start one. Please add yours to this thread.

4. Bulk CSV import (don't see how bulk upload of photos at add placement can work on this system, so skip that. Maybe CSV the ads, the make a bulk FTP for each ad where we can upload a group of photos and they will be renamed to "[adnumber]-1.jpg" etc.

You can do that in the template.

to tell ya the truth ill need more than the 2 weeks since i started using 68c to write that

but the affliate programe YES BIG GREAT IDEA

directory/store doovey better and yes if its stand alone that ok too

evrything else i thought i wanted is pretty much here already just need to spend lots of time going through these forums and the 68c site before you do a me and continually email baire with stupid questions

All above is good and useful. But my wish to have:
1. Message system � to allow customers to have mailboxes and contact each other within 68C without using emails. This will force customers come back to your site all the time and also solve the problem of filtering email messages by email providers.
2. Affiliate system � it will be the best way to marketing your site.

All of the above sound great but for me, 'Ad Notification' is a 'must have' to bring back site visitors interested in particular categories/items (I use it all the time with eBay).

Secondly, 'Memberships' that are automatically activated rather than manually activated.

Excellent thread.

My top 3 at the moment:
1. Stepped user checkout that gives admin maximal control, so we can get rid of pages that are unnecessary. This honestly stands out to me right now as the biggest weak point in an otherwise outstanding product.
2. Multiple image upload feature. Like spaceboy mentions, the ability to lasso a group of images and upload them at once.
3. User notification. I know there's a history behind this feature.

Also good, and simple to implement:
4. Ability to categorize your own ads alphabetically, chronologically and so forth, like you can with search results. Search for your own ads is a plus. (this is a feature primarily for dealers and brokers, but can be very helpful to them when managing inventory).

Could be really, really valuable, but has to be done correctly
5. Bulk csv import. I honestly think this is more in the realm of module-for-a-fee, as it will have to be done with some thought and care for it to be worthwhile. I would buy it.

Also good
6. Loan calculator. I thought I'd have to implement this on my own, but something like a loan/mortgage calculator built into the classifieds would be a nice touch.

Maybe I'm just an idiot but everyone seems to be mentioning "stepped checkout". I've never heard that phrase before. What exactly is "stepped checkout"?
