February 14th 2009 will be the end of life for v3.1.x and all prior versions of 68 Classifieds. As we move forward with new releases it is just not physically possibly for us to keep supporting old releases.
This means we will no longer offer any support for this line and we recommend everyone upgrade to the v4.0.x line. FAQ Q. Can I continue using v3.1.x? A. Yes you own the script you are using and can continue using it. However we will not support it so if you find bugs or have issues you are on your own. Q. I want to upgrade but do not know how? A. We offer both installation and upgrade services and can upgrade your site for you with the purchase of this. Please contact us for more details. Q. Can I still get help on the forums? A. Yes the forums will not change. You will not be able to get support from the ticket system. Q. Why are you going to stop supporting it? A. We are going to stop supporting it because we do not physically have the resources available to support it and v3.1.x was released on January 5th 2006 which makes it three years old.

Eric, do you have any estimation on final v4.1? Before the End of Life of v3.1 or after?
Just simply want to go straight to v4.1 instead of double upgrade.

I'm sure this is a dumb question, but I haven't been here in awhile so please bear with me.
I am running the hosted version: You are running: V3.1.7 Hosted Current Version: V3.1.10 Click here to upgrade So, should I "click to upgrade" or is that going to change to say v4? I'm not really familiar with what the changes are - do I need to be worried that something is going to break when I upgrade? (I have a custom template) Again, sorry to be stupid. If there are threads that address my question please point me in that direction. Thanks! |
