Can I run the software on multiple domains?
You may use each purchase on one domain. However you can install multiple copies on that same domain. Does this mean I can use the same software script to isolate parts of my classified site such as real estate and vacation rentals as I would want to have seperate allowance parameters in other words more pictures allowed on this part of the classifieds and have seperate charges for different features hope this makes some sense if anyone knows the true answer please respond. |

Yes, as long as the domaine name is the same you can have multiple copies.
However your goal can be accomplished by setting up additional packages in a single copy of 68C. When you create a package you specify what categories the package allows the ad to be placed in as well as how many images and how many words etc and of course the price. This means you can have a car category which is $10 per ad and allows 6 images. Then a home for sale category which is $80 and allows 10 images etc. |

If only there was a much easier way to do this?
Perhaps the maffo multi-site system?

I've got three different copies running on one domain since the three sections don't relate well to each other. The first is a traditional classified ad syste, the second is a business directory, amnd the third is a festival directory. The listing display styles for each are also quite different. The latter two are catagorized by geographic location.
I've found 68c to be extremely powerful for customization. About the only drawback to running separate copies is that users have separate logins to each area which does sometimes confuse them. Regards, Jim
