Bought the designer version of 68. Today after being impressed with the demo and the sample (real) websites.
Unzipped, uploaded everything in the upload folder via dreamweaver. Set Chmod permissions for the relevant folders. typed in www.yoursite.com/setup/index.php (swapping your site for my site obviously) and nothing - message of not found on server - when it clearly is within the folder. Mysql is setup but there is no link established yet with that and the 68 stuff - assumed the setup file would do this. Hosted on Linux server, php is working ok. Any help gratefully received - sitting on window ledge as I type!!! By no means I'm a techno here but to fail miserably at this earlier stage is pathetic on my part, what can I do to 'start' this process. |

Not sure if this is the problem or not but you can check that you uploaded the files to the webroot of your host. I have seen this as public_html, httpdocs, etc.

Its uploaded to htdocs (main root) so it should be fine.
Is the problem mysql linked? Without a Mysql database thou should the main 68 classified page see something? |
