Is there a way to setup a bulk renewal payment.

I have dealer memberships which give the dealer 10 ads - I would like them to be able to make one payment to renew those 10 ads.

I have my dealer membership set to 90 days whilst the ad life is 30 days so the dealers my have to renew their ads twice throughout the life of the membership this could amount to 20 x $5 payments (a bit tedious)

Anybody have any thoughts on this?

Are you using version 4 or version 3? I don't believe version 4 has memberships like you are talking about. If you mistakenly posted here you might want to post this in the version 3 section.

I'm not quite sure I'm following you. V4 doesn't have memberships, so how is it that you have a 90 day membership?

My only thought regarding this would be the use of a coupon and direct payment to you outside of the script in exchange for the coupon of X dollars.

I reckon it can be done, but would take some custom programming and its not going to be easy.

There are many things to keep in mind. When a user buys a bulk load of ads they have a certain amount of time o use up the ads. What if a dealer posts 3 ads one month, 4 the next, 3 the next? Are they billed at the end of that time? If the ads run for a month then the first three ads will have long expired. If they are billed at the end of the first month, they may still have ads remaining.

Its a tricky one and might need a lot more thought on how it could be achieved. Depending on the amount of dealers you have, you might want to think about billing them from outside the workings of their site. Then write or have written, a little script which updates the ads for you.
