Ok, So I am running a version of 68C 3.1.10 on a sub-domain of curbstoners.com. I will have two other versions of 68c running at curbstoners.com under a sub-domain.
I had the error before and understood how to correct it and did so. 68C has been running correctly since...until I made a change at my webserver. This error seemed to happen when I changed the "Directory Index" through my control panel -- I wanted to have sandrailsonly.curbstoners.com open directly to 68Classifieds at sandrailsonly.curbstoners.com/index.php instead of bringing up an "Under Construction" page. The hash issue appears to have happened after this Directory Index change. NOW, I have changed the Directory Index back...much to my dismay...deleted the Key.php and deleted the files in Template_C AND it still gives the hash error.... What is happening now? www.sandrailsonly.curbstoners.com/index.php

Got it thanks....
FYI: For those who cannot reset their License....this is because the program has a built in trigger that disables that feature when you have it changed it X amount of times. But still up in the air is whether one can change the Directory Index in CPanel and not get this Hash Error and License problem. Quote:

I would recommend contacting your host for the directory index issue. This is beyond the script level.

For some reason, all of a sudden I start getting an error message when I go to login to my 68 Classifieds Admin area.
The error message reads as follows: "Hash incorrect. Please delete the file license/key.php and reload this page. If that does not work please contact 68 Classifieds for support." I can't open a support ticket due to my support license being expired. Obviously, this is an issue with the script itself because I didn't change anything and the script has been working fine since 2007 and all of a sudden it started making that error message in the admin area. Please help! |

Did you try and delete the key.php?
