Angelus077 is on a distinguished road
Default Redirecting old listings to homepage.

I have recently bought the developer edition and started using it. Now i have a question.

How can i redirect my old listings that are indexed by google to my homepage?

All the listings from my old script are still in Google but when somebody clicks on then they get an error. I want them to be automaticly send to the homepage of the new script.

Anybody can help me?

Im not a search engine expert but you need to be carefull how you do this. If you do a lot of redirectiong via the script it can hurt your google rankings and why I think that the ad expired page is displayed instead.

If you still want to do it, then you can use the php function "header" to cause a redirect. Im on my way out the door so cant give specifics.

Another way to do it is via your servers 404 error page. Check to see if your web host has provided you with this facility. If so, you can set up a page with the same look and feel as your 68C site and perhaps add the wording, "Sorry but the page you have reached is no longer available. Please click here to go to the home page." or words similar.
