I started running AWSTATS on my site a few weeks ago and I noticed this and don't know what to make of it. THis might possibly be spiders getting 404 not found but I though I would see what you guys thought of it. This is in the HTTP Status codes section of the summary. It looks like most of the errors are coming from this. /style.css 23592 http://www.buyswapsell.com/category.php Could this be a bad link or somthing?

Perhaps you modified some templates and have a call to the style sheet but the path is incorrect and thus the style shet cant be found when the page is loaded?

You have a call in your header that shouldn't be there.
<link href="style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> Then you have the correct call. <link rel="stylesheet" href="templates/AlaWeb/style.css" type="text/css" /> -Mike

I found it in my layout.tpl.php. I didn't add that myself but I did copy the default template and use it to create my own template. Could that possibly have been what caused that?
Thank you for your help! Last edited by pauljr; 01-04-2008 at 04:04 PM. |
