Default Newspaper Classifieds

Hi all,

I'm really interested in 68 Classifieds. One question: I'm hoping to setup free classifieds for private sellers (like a newspaper's classifieds). Can I customize fields so someone doesn't have to input their address, but could add their email and/or phone number?

Thanks, Dustin

By default everyone has to register but you can specify which fields are displayed and required for them to fill out when they register.

You can additionally display which fields display to visitors.

Default Flag messages

Two more questions: Can readers flag messages to help prevent the porn/viagra crowd from taking over?

And, what do people use for a payment system? Does 68Classifieds take a percent of sales?

Thanks again, Dustin

Yes there is a 'ad reporting' module as part of the software

Thats one reason you have people register and verify their accounts. It greatly limits spam AND helps top give buyers a small but none the less feeling that at least someone knows something about the ad poster.

68classifieds is simply a script for listing ads. As such the goal is to collect money at the time of ad placement for the hosting and displaying of the ads and thats how they get paid.

To make it clear. Once you've purchased a license to use the 68C software you keep every penny you earn from your site. 68C do not take a percentage.
