Category fields in view list

Is it possible to have different fields for each category in the view listing?
Example,
Category TRUCKS when clicked would show Make, Model, Color, Price on the listing page.
Category EMPLOYMENT when clicked would show Job Title, City, Salary, Years Experience.
Category YARD SALES when clicked would show yard sales listed by Date, City, Start Time, End Time.
Etc.
You would think I would I would know this, but cannot figure out how to make it work.

Try this:

Go to Admin of your site:

Choose Extra Fields...then from inside Extra Fields choose the Category you want the extra or (special fields) you create to show. Hold Control key down to choose multi selection.

that's how I have worked it... For Homes I have a different view listing page than with Cars...

I set the Fields to show only with the Category I want them to show on. And with my site (a full classified ads site) I have a ton of fields created and they are set to show only items pertinent to the Category I am selling.

I know it cannot be done on the search listing page as multiple categories are listed, but I would like this for each individual category list from the browse menu.
