Hi. I think it would be a good idea to find out how customers heard about my website to provide valuable info as to what marketing is working best. Is there a way of adding a field when they register to ask how they got to know about our site? I'm not a developer so I know nothing about PHP.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Sometimes it pays to read the documentation.

You do not need to know php or anything else like that, just simply use one of the 3 built in custom extra user registrations fields for this. I would recommend the extra1 field which will show at the very top of the registration and call it, "How did you find us?"
