Listing Status - Feedback Please

I was hoping to get some feedback regarding the status of listings from 68C users who are running paid classified sites and who manually approve ads. I just started using the program and just started my testing from a user perspective. From my understanding the status options are either Active, Not Active, or Fraud. I'm going to manually approve my ads so it seems to me that the status can get confusing.

For example, if I'm going to manually approve ads I just want to see the Not Active ones so I can approve them quickly. But Not Active isn't telling me what I need to know. The ad can be expired which in my case isn't one I wish to look at. Do expired ads automatically get deleted if they're not renewed? If they don't then I have to look at the date and the status to figure out it's an expired ad to leave it alone.

I would think status levels would be more specific. How do you all use the system? Am I making this more difficult than I need to?

In admin You shouldnt be dealing with listings at all but ORDERS. All ads are tied to an order and you can filter ORDERS more granularly than listings and just display completed orders waiting for approval.

If I'm manually approving listings then I have to deal with listings. I have to look at the order to verify it completed and also look at the ad to verify it meets the terms and conditions. How do I tie the two together?

They are tied together already, just approve the order and the ads status will change.
