Default step 3 listing details text alignment

v4.1.6 Developer
Template: 3 col

Hi, have been trying to align the text labels in step 3 of 'place an ad'. At the moment all are aligned correctly except the 'title' label. Is there a way to align this so it is in sync with the text box? If I edit the padding or margins it does so for all the labels, so the 'title' will be aligned correctly, but everything else will then be misaligned, (vice versa).

Can only be viewed if you log in so I've created a user: User: test Password: test

All help appreciated.

Create another style tag, add it to your style sheet with the margins and padding you want and assign it in your template.

Thanks for the reply.
Excuse the ignorance but where in the template would I assign it? I mean, I see no reference to the labels within the layout file.

Thanks again

You would define it in the style.css which resides in the css folder of your template. You would then apply it in the actual template file stepX.tpl in your checkout folder of the same template.

Thanks once again. Have tried to do as you suggest but to no avail. Just cannot get it to align correctly. It's baffling as the other labels fall under exactly the same class...the same in every way, yet it is only the 'Title' label that is mis-aligned.

Any other suggestions perhaps?
Thanks for your patience.

The problem is that you have changed from what I can see quite a bit and now you have side effects. in other places. Go back to the default css for this page. Then check the changes you are making one at a time.
