Need Help Setting Up 2 Checkout.com a Payemnt Gateway
We have the html codes from 2CO.com for the products as well as the SR.PHP file. We are unsure what to do next. Would it be possible to get a phone call to walk us through it. Please advise.

If there was a 2checkout available it would already be included. If its not included then its likely not something someone can just call you up and walk you through.

I don't use 2 checkout, but I thought that 2 checkout already is a payment gateway in v4.0.x.

Just login your admin click on "Payment" then click on "Payment Providers". You should then see twocheckout as a payment provider option. Click "modify" and make your settings.

If you don't see twocheckout, then click on the "Regenerate" button.

Default 2CO Set Up

2CheckOut is there.

Per instructions from 68 Classifieds we done the following -
We have the Config.php, the readme.php, and the sr.php files in the new 2Co payment gatefway folder. We have html codes for our products...so do we copy/paste those into the sr.php file and if so where? What do we do next?

I may be a little confused as to what you are doing. 2checkout is included in the core and all you have to do is activate it and set it up.

  • Payment Provider Name - Enter the name of the payment provider here.
  • Show As - If you have multiple forms of payment setup, your customers will have a choice as to which method they prefer. Enter the value you would like your customers to see such as "Credit Card", "Paypal" or "Mastercard, Visa" (without the quotes.)
  • Active - Place a check in the box to make this payment provider active. If this box is not checked, the payment provider will not show up in the payment provider list during checkout.
  • Demo - If you would like to test the payment provider settings, place a check in the "Demo" box.
  • Store Number - Enter your 2Checkout account number here.
  • Extra - This field is not used with 2checkout payment setup - please leave it blank.
Now log into your 2Checkout account. You should see a list of links and choose the one entitled "Look & Feel" and click on "settings".

Make sure "Direct Return" is set to No and in the box for Approved URL you will need the URL of your thanks.php file, typically http://www.yoursite.com/thanks.php?gateway=twocheckout

Smile Thank you

Eric,

Thank you so much for your answer. We were so frustrated we were about to give up. We tried again and w're up and running. Evidently 2CO had us as penidng because they did not see the products we were selling. That has since been straightened out.

Also, May I send you a private email with some suggestions concering our situation and 2CO and the instructions on how to ad your own payment gateway? If so, please email me directly.

Thank you agian. You sir - rock!

Very respectfully,

Rob Shurtleff
