Exclamation Listings sort question?

Hi David,

I purchased your templates and modules, i must say great job, very pro!

Since changing over to your templates i am finding the way the listings are sorted is back to front, for instance, when i click new, most viwed or featured in the left navigation the oldest ad is shown first and the newest ad is shown last. Dont know if this is a 68 thing or your template? any idea which files to edit to change all of these?

Thanks for any help

Mark

Hi again,

Found a whole pile of posts all about sorting, but none of them really answer the question, has anybody found a solution to sorting ASC or DESC?

Cheers
Mark

These things are controlled as normal in your 68C admin control panel. The templatecodes modules will not be changing that. You should not be modifying core files.

Hi,

Feel like im having a converstion with myself here!!

Not sure if this is correct but it seems to do the trick for me

Open toplistings.php and replace line 66 with the following code

$class_tpl->assign('file', 'toplistings.php?pg=top&sortfield=dateadded&sortor der=desc');

Now the newest ads are at the top

Cheers
Mark
