Default Sort Listings

I feel like an idiot, a few days ago I know that with one of the views I was able to sort the listings view via price or city and the like. One of my guys said he cannot see where that is an option. Now I look and I cannot find it myself. If it does exist or if there is an option that I may have set to remove this feature, please help me, I can't figure it out for the life of me.
Sorry in advance for the pathetic question.

I just compaired it to the 68Classifieds demo site and I see that in the category.php?cat= the demo site has table listings at the top and on my site it doesnt. I must have changed a setting but I have no clue where to look unless I just upload the category.php file again. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Ok I just went in and changed some settings, nothing that seemed like it would make the headings of the table appear and now if I am logged in I get the option to sort under Title, Price, Date Added, Expiration City, State, or Country. If I am not logged in I can sort the table under Title or Price. Would like to make all the sort options available to any visitors. Any suggestions as to what I changed to make the category headings appear and how I could make them available to everyone would be appreciated.

tessy,

You are using the showlisting2.tpl to show your listings. The table headers show based on whether or not you have them set to show within a user "group".

When you are not logged in, you are in user group 5, "Guest" when you log in as an admin, then you are in user group 1, etcetera. Each user group has settings as to what they can or can not view.

So, the answer is, login to your administration. Go to the "Users" tab. Then go through each user group and select each item as to whether or not you wish to have a particular item displayed to the users in that group.

I let Guests see anything except for seller information including the seller contact form. I reserve those to only registered users.

Hope that helps,
-Mike
