Default Adding a user Group but pricing pack not picking it up.

Running Fluid 2 Red. I have added a user group called family and friends but the pricing module will not pick it up. As far as I can tell pricing module will display every other group available when users are set to that particular group. If i log in under a seperate identity with a user group of family and friends the package wil not display. When I go to place an ad, this package is available and works when placing an ad.Please help!

The pricing module shows packages to guests - it is not designed to be used when logged in because they can see the packages available under place an ad. Have you placed a link to the pricing module which shows when you are logged in as any type of user?

Send me an email please with login details fro admin and this usergroup.

Default Seen the Light!

I finally get the concept behind the pricing module. I had taken it out of the if statements so it displays when you are logged in. People see the packages anyway under their user group when placing an ad, why would you want the pricing link when logged in anyway. Sorry and Thank You.

No problem. Yes it should be in those if statements. Otherwise even though it will show packages for categories it will likely confuse the visitor and he may wonder why he cannot place an ad via it. That s why we decided to make it for visitors only (as they can't see the advertiser packages without becoming registered users). I personally think this is important that people can know in advance of registering. My experience on my own classifieds site was people would abandon the ads after registering which just wasted their time and mine. Best to be upfront with people and they are much more likely to follow through.
