Tried it on demo and I don't get that. How are you even able to select other templates if the site is offline. I presume you mean you have clicked the little checkbox in main settings on the admin control panel. What type of page are you seeing this error on - you don't have the debug module active do you? That is a development tool.

Sorry I meant my site is working fine in normal mode. I.e. template switch is only allowed in online mode as expected.

However, after taking it offline. And just browsing the HOME page shows the error on top.

Also I have not installed any DEBUG module.

Send me your FTP and 68C admin panel login details as I can't replicate your issue. It does not do this on our test system nor demo system. email on the web site.

That error is saying that it can't read the resource file, which in the case of the site being offline should be content.tpl which should be in your default template folder.
