Short description

Hello gang!

I've decided to use the short description field as a specific location field. Primarily because I can use the search all function with it. Apparently I can't use the extra fields since they are attached to categories only.

When I enable the short description to appear in the showlistings, the price field goes towards the middle, the title goes to the top and the short description goes to the bottom. How would I be able to make them all appear in one row like it does when you don't have short description selected?

Hope this makes sense and any help will be appreciated.

If I understand correctly, you will need to modify the css to support the shortlistings2.tpl file (its not part of the sigma template). However without a screenshot or an example page it is difficult to give specific advice.

Sorry Seymourjames if my example seemed confusing. After taking a better look at what I was trying to achieve, I decided to use the showlistings default template instead of the showlistings2. This way I could just add the short description to it. I really hope it's possible to do this. I included an image for you to see what I'm trying to achieve. Any help, clues, or instructions would be greatly appreciated.

Yup, that is even easier and I do it selectively for new, featured and top listings on my own sites like this example. Normal showlistings do not show it. This is a nice SEO technique we deploy.
