Please describe in detail the issue you are having:
I've been putting off upgrading to V4 becasue I've made so many custom mods to my 3.1.10 installation, but there is one thing that will push me to the current version if it is possible.

Can V4 send multiple timed renewal notices?

I run a business directory and the ads run for one year. Many advertisers don't get (or just miss) the single renewal notice currently sent. I'd love it if it could send two or three renewal notices at the times I select (for example, 10, 7 and three days prior to expiration)

Many, probably over half of my advertisers, don't seem to get the single renewal notice. I suspect the system doesn't send them all out as it should - there are way too many who don't get it for it to be an oversight on their end. Some don't renew because it's too much trouble to re-enter their ad once it's expired since they have to re-enter everything.

The script currently only sends out one renewal email. I like the idea of sending multiple though.

Right now the only way to get this feature would be to either build a module for it or hack it in.
