Hi,

I want to add a inputfield with the direct link to this listing in seo format.
So users can copy past it into a email or msn messenger or whatever.

How can i display the code in seo format of the listing in the viewlisting2.tpl.

If you have the SEO mod then the URl in SEO format as you call it is already displayed in th browser, they can cut/paste it from there.

Hi,

I think its tradition to have the link.
I know from myself that i dont copy the link from the adress bar but i will copy it if there is a inputfield.

Thats just plain silly, the internet is anything but traditional, but its your site, do what you want.

That being said the URL is held in php global variables and in turn can be accessed by smarty.

Which tradition isnt silly?
And here in the netherlands people use the same marketplace site for over 5 years, people get used to things like this.

I think there is a smarty function to get the current url. There is certainly a php method to get it. Smarty may only get the php one - don't know. Otherwise you need to see what is available in the viewlisting template (something like listing_url). I seem to remember you can get the url but its a long time ago since my first site.

I found it, it is domain.com{$tc_goto} (no "/")

It only works if you have the modules from templatecodes
