Hi again , I am still having troubles. This time I cant seem to get rid of the gaps between the logo and the naviation bar, and also the gap between the navigation bar and the main page. What am I doing wrong? can someone please help ..... see attachment below

Have you modified the template in anyway?
If so we need a link to the site.

The answer is you have changed the css style sheet and the smarty/html in the layout.tpl file.
