GD Library not installed properly

I previously had our classified working properly. THe only thing that has changed since the error message below occurred is that the domain name is now Thompson Okanagan Directory as opposed to the ip address we used for development and for when the classifieds were first installed. In the admin panel main settings I have changed the site url to refelct the new domain name but the error below occurs when I get to the "upload image" stage of adding a classified ad.

Error occurred in the Image Processor

The GD Library is not installed correctly
Please correct and try again

I don't see a GD Library in the classifieds directory.

Help please.

GD library is a server library and a requisite to run 68C. You will need to contact your web host and report the problem to them.
