Default 4.1.4 upgrade

Hello . Can someone tell me how to do the upgrade from 4.1.3 to 4.1.4. Will I have to reinstall the YouTube
module or make any major changes to the site after this or any other upgrade? My customers would like to do this in the future.

Thanks. Enjoy your weekend.

There shouldn't be any issues in your upgrade, however you have the default template listed in your signature. It looks like you are actually using a modification of the default template.

If you did NOT copy the default template and rename it to something else, I would recommend doing so. Please check the change log that comes with the download and you will see that there are template files (any files with the ".tpl" extension) that have changed in the default template.

You will need to verify changes made to those files and your files and change your files accordingly.

hi there,

I'm using the templates codes plugin.
I want to upgrade to 4.1.4 , do i just upload the files over the existing ones?

Will my site still work/look the same way? I haven't made any changes to the default template folder, but modified some other template folders... (don't think this should be a problem)

Will I need to re-install anything?

Just trying to figure out how long this will take..

Thanks

What are you upgrading from? Secondly, if it is just a plugin from quite a long time back then there should not be any issue. It depends on many things.

I'm upgrading from v4.1.3 Designer.
It's the latest template codes modules (about 3 weeks old).

You shouldn't have any problems upgrading, just follow the directions included with the download. But heed the warning, you should always make backups before making changes regardless of whether it's an upgrade or modification, etc.

I agree with Mike, you shouldn't have any issue and that you should make backups of your file system and database. If you run into any problems we are here.
