what does this mean?
"Number of days you would like expired listings to be deleted "

in the help section it is defined as:
"This value defines the number of days you would like expired listings to be deleted."

...which to be honest is not very helpful....

This is the number of days that the listing will still stay in the database once the ad expires before it is actually deleted and gone forever more to the land of lost listings or wherever it is that they actually go.

and one more thing... is there a way to prevent them from being deleted at all? like if i set it to 0, would that do it, or is there another way?

Setting the field to 0 would mean that it would be deleted when it expired (delete 0 days after the listing expires).

There isn't a way that is built in to "not delete" the listings that I know of.
