Hiya

I have a very strange issue and im just wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

The front-end site works fine but the admin sections cannont connect to the sql server the error reprorted is
Notice: Query failed: MySQL server has gone away SQL:

This started happening after my host has changed servers. I just carnt understand how the frontend is working

i would be talking to your hosting company, they are your best bet.

Yep Nick is spot on. That usually means the mysql server either went down or dropped the connection.
