Default Smarty error when using Statistics Module

Hi, after activating the Statistics module v1.3 that comes with v4.1.3, when I click on the "admin" link I arrive at a page displaying only the following:

Quote:
Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "stats_list.tpl.php" in /f5/[edited]/public/includes/classes/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1092

Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "stats_list.tpl.php" in /f5/[edited]/public/includes/classes/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1092
My site is hosted on servers running freeBSD if that means anything. I've experienced quirks similar to this with other scrips, and they seemed to be specific to me and my host.

I'd like to explore this statistical gizmo if it ain't too much trouble to get it working

Hopefully this issue won't reformulate in other areas of 68classifieds for me.

It sounds like that template file may be corrupted or the file itself is missing. This is a bug that I have already reported if the case is that it is missing. Unfortunately, all the template files for this module somehow didn't make it into the released version of the software script. If you have downloaded the 68 software script v4.1.1 or 4.1.0 then you should be able to copy the files from there.

Thanks Mike!

I'll probably just give google analytics a go.

Do you know where would I add some Google Analytics code?

When you sign up for Google Analytics, it explains exactly where to put their code. I use GA as well as my own server stats. I'm not sure why, but GA always shows much less (typically 10-20%) than the my direct server stats.

I found that as well and contacted them, they said the visitr has to be on the page for a certain amount of time, forgot what it was otherwise it wont register.
