Default WYSIWYG is missing from admin section

Hi All,

When updating my classifieds site pages from the admin area, I have found that the WYSIWYG editor is not displaying at all. I have recently upgraded from v3 to v4.1.2.

Also, I have noticed that from the site a user cannot add any listing to their favourite section... Any clues??

Thanks,
Mark

It sounds like perhaps you have either some corrupted files or you missed some files when you upgraded at least as far as the inability to add to favorites.

As far as the WYSISYG editor, that has changed from the tinyMCE (used in v3.1.x and 4.0.x) to the jquery markitup module. Check to see if have the markitup module activated in the admin.

My guess is that you have a cloient firewall preventing the javascript that handles these things from running. Try temporarily disabling your firewall/virus protection software and see if that helps.
