Adding more than one Child Extra Field

Is is possible to add more than one Child Extra Fields to the Parent Extra Field.

For instance:
Electronics (Parent Category Field)
Computers (Child Category Field)
Laptop (Parent Extra Field)
Make, Condition, Size, Ram, Procesor, Etc. (Child Extra Fields)

In other words, once you click on Laptop, a bunch of extra fields will pop up. This is for the front end Search. We thought by adding more than one Child Extra Field ID# to its Parent Extra Field would of done the trick.

Any suggestions?

If I understand the question the answer is no. Children can only be one level deep as outlined in the manual item number 6 under the parent child section.

Actually, that I do know. I know that it can't go another level. However, what I was asking was to have more than one child field at that specific level.

Another example, Make and model of the Car section.
Makes (Parent Extra Field)
Models (Child Extra Field)

Is it possible to just have more Child Extra Field?

BMW (Parent Extra Field)
Color, Body Type, Model (Child Extra Field) None of which would require to go down a level. These are all child extra fields at the same level.

The user searches for BMW, then the Color Red, Body Type SUV, Model M3. Obviously, there aren't any M3 SUV's, but that isn't our problem. If that's what the user wants to search then that's fine by us.

No that isn't currently possible. Right now it is a one to one relationship. One child per one parent.

Why not use the normal drop down for Color and Body Type since those should be the same across all cars?
