Hello All,
for my needs, it is required that the customer enter a coupon code in step 3 of the checkout process.
Normal, if the customer do not enter a coupon code, he will be redirected and then there is a payment option in the next steps. But i need the fill out of coupon code necessary. if the customer do not enter a coupon code, there must be a failure message or like at the other fields, the message "required filed" should comes up.

Can anyone help me to find out which code i need to adjust?

Can you describe why there needs to be a coupon code? I understand what you are looking to do but I am not sure why and often times if we have that additional info we can offer you and easier more practicle solution.

Hi,
i found a solution. Just a small adjustment in step3submit.php.
I need this, because i will not offer to charge every placement of an ad.So the customer can buy coupons for example with 20 listings and so on.
