Is there a way to allow a coupon to retain the value of what's not used so that the user can use the remainder at a later date?

e.g. - I get 1 coupon for 50.00, I list an item and spend only 20.00. I have 30.00 left on my coupon for another listing later (instead of it ending after one use as it is currently configured).

I tested this and it didn't allow me to use the same coupon twice. If this is how it's supposed to work, then I should talk with 68classified.
