After further testing today I confirmed that my users don't get system mails when they have new PM and I don't get the messages from ContactUs page. All of the other system mail messages are fine.

I suggest trying that. I always recommend SMTP mail when possible.

I guess the problem is in my TV after all. I changed my site main email address to my gmail account and the php mailer is working now. If I try any address from my site domain I get the problems from the second post in this topic.

I still use phpmailer. I'm not quite sure how to use SMTP. Don't know from where to get "SMTP Server Address", "SMTP Username", "SMTP Password" and "SMTP Port".

The smtp server address is the address of your mail providers smtp mail server, the user name is the name you use to log in and get mail, pass is the pass you use to log in and get mail and the port rarely is needed.

The point of smtp mail is that you(or the script) needs to log into the mail server to send mail. So its authenticated and the recipients mail server can tell this by the mail headers and is MUCH more likely to accept the mail.
