Default Filter RSS feed with magpie

Hi,
I am trying to use ABC News: Business and as you can see on the right hand side there is filter by category.
For example on my site i only want it to show automotive, how can i do that?

Are you saying you want to filter the incomming ABC news feed?

If thats the case you shoudl probably check out ABC's site to see if the offer customer/filtered feeds or magpies site for help on implementing a filter. This really doesnt have anything to do with 68C.

Thanks for the reply, it might not have anything to do with 68c script but it is going on my 68c site
It appears i can use

$item['category']
but im not sure how to implament it.
Any ideas?

I understand that but this is a magpie question and these are 68C support forums. How many people here actually use magpie? My guess is a lot fewer than are on the magpie support forums.

If magpie is just a parser and it displays RSS them there likely is no way to filter a feed if the feed doesnt allow for it by default. This means you would have to manually alter the magpie code and tell it to look for certain auto related keywords and if the exit display the article.
