Well for starters this thread isnt for 4.09 its 4.0 rc9.
but anyway just upload all files that are in the change log. If you havnt modified any files you may as well just re-upload the whole lot except for the Connections folder. I beleive the change log is in the download this time instead of being on the post.

This is the forum topic for v4 Questions & Support, there is nothing wrong with posting a thread in here related to upgrading a v4.x product. In addition, this topic is in no way, shape or form limited to 4.0 rc9. Where are you getting this notion? This is an announcement thread and is a closed thread.

Thank you for taking the time to answer the posters questions, though. To elaborate on the answer. You should ALWAYS follow the instructions that are included in the readme.html file which is part of the download. THIS INCLUDES ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE uploading anything.

If you wish to only upload changed files, then you still need to make a backup (which you should always have anyway). There is now an included changelog.txt file included in the download which lists the exact files which were changed in this upgrade as well as previous upgrades.

@Mike - Actually Nick was correct. He posted in the news and announcements thread which I forgot to close. I moved it to it's own thread once I seen it.
