Default Showlistings - strange behaviour

I am getting some bizarre behaviour from my site with showlistings. My newlistings are always date ordered and fixed. No sorting is possible. If I then go to any category and display the listings it initially shows them in date order (fine). I then sort them by price (fine), I then hit the back button (on the browser) and instead of them being date ordered as they were, they are now price ordered. Why would this be? This may present a real problem for search engines and visitors may expect to see something different.

1. It creates duplicate content
2. They can get 2 different versions of the same page within one spidering route.

Hi,

I think this may have to do with the custom change I made for you in the Listings.php file.

Can you shoot me an email or a pm and I will see about this.

I fixed it in listings.php. I removed the appropriate cookies and forced it to always order by date unless a sortorder was set. That way I do not get duplicate pages coming out anymore across multiple urls.
