Hello,

I am getting strange characters ouput in my rss feeds where the currency symbol should be, everywhere else on the site the currency symbol is showing correctly. See link below

I am running the default template V.4.01, but had this problem before i upgraded from V4.0

Any help here is much appreciated

Hello again,

Just noticed in Admin > Regional Settings

It wont let me set the currency symbol to � instead it populates to �� when you save it

Try this as a fix, but just make sure that once you do it, you go through your website and check all ads, creating, modifying ads in not affected. I dont think it will be.

Go directly into your database using phpmyadmin or whichever database program you use. Find the table 'currency settings' and change the euro for

If that doesnt work , go back to your euro sign. By the way use all of that code including the &# and ;

I just put the code you suggested into Admin > Regional Settings > Currency Symbol and hey presto FIXED.

Hello,

I am setting up a classifieds for the UK and having problems with the currency symbol again, what code do i have to put in Admin > Regional Settings > Currency Symbol for it to show the � Pound sign.
