Due to a problem with my site I am having to undergo a complete clean installation. As I am going through the install (v. 4.0.3) I find it odd that after the self-check verifies the CHMOD settings and prompts me to enter the database information , yet it does not have a box to input the path to the database. I downloaded the instructions to check and in them is an image that shows a path box...how shall I proceed. Hitting 'next' without being able to input the path produces this:

Database Error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)

O.k.....O.k.....let's just call it Mayonaise and be done with it--I see it now!
