edit states and country

I have gone into the settings page and made sure I added all the states and provinces I want, and have left all the countries. under the search settings have put yes to these options. but when you go to the site it only offers my particular town, province and country. Anyone know what is going on.

I haven't messed around with that part of 68 classifieds yet, but I believe it's only showing you the towns/cities / states or countries that have listings available. Did you make a listing with your particular town, province and country?

Yes, thats correct. The search dropdown only displays values that have ads with the same values. Some have commented they dont like that method but from a client standpoint, why would you want to give someone a list of lets say 50 states to narrow down their search when there are only ads in a single state? I think the idea behind it was not not let users waste their time searching for something that doesnt exist.

yes that makes total sense! I actually do not have any ads running yet. I am still putting everything together. but I will have my friend post an ad from her province to just make sure it is all good. Thanks for the help. this support forum is really great!
