What version of 68 Classifieds are you running?
Example: v4.2.2 Developer

What template are you using?
Default/ Slightly modified CSS

Please describe in detail the issue you are having:
I am having an issue with the search function.

I use the Browse section on my web site to list the latest adverts, I am using the New Listings link.
Performance Central - Free Performance Parts Classifieds

For some reason, the older classifieds are coming up first. I tried changing the options within the Search Listing to Accending and Decending, I changed it to sort by ID but even with these changes the latest listing is still appearing with the oldest first.

Is there any particular ideas to work around it?

what are the settings in your admin control panel for search settings?

Also you have modified the template and removed code. Does it work with the straight default template?
