Default IE Issue

What version of 68 Classifieds are you running?
I think 4? Will have to go verify, but I know it is not the latest update.

Template: Customized NuStyle

My ad submission form does not render properly in IE. I didn't notice this until recently because I usually use Firefox, and had enough other issues since my upgrade to deal with. Here is a screenshot where you can see how everything gets on top of each other. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!

I don't really want to post the url to the site itself just because every time I do I get hit with a bunch of spam - that whole captcha thing is turned off because that never worked since the upgrade either. If anyone can help I will send that to you in PM.

Thanks!

You have changed the template quite a lot and it is difficult to know what is wrong. The best you can do is install the original template that you purchased first and see what happens. The template probably will not behave well in I.E6 either if that is what you are using.

The other thing to do is to see if it does it in the default template???

A little hard without seeing the code...it's possible that you are missing the
HTML Code:
<div class="clear"></div>
or if your stylesheet has changed
HTML Code:
<br style="clear: left" />
before the
HTML Code:
</fieldset>
.

The reCaptcha module has helped me with spammers.

It's actually IE 7 and IE 8 that I am seeing the problem in. Works fine in Firefox.

You can actually see the URL in the header image of my screenshot if that helps at all - I don't know how spammers grab links like that but I would still rather not post it right now.

I will take a look at the suggestions you provided - thanks!

I'm kind of scared to switch to the original template just because so much work was done on it, and not by me I don't know how to fix anything I break I sent a note to the designer as well, hopefully he will have time to look too.

Thanks!

You cannot do any harm by switching to the default template for a minute. simply log into your admin control panel, goto template settings and click on the default template. Then clear your cookies and browser cache, then test. Then go back to your template settings and reset the original template. Clear cookies and cache again. This will then help us to help you. Otherwise it is nearly impossible to know why or what is wrong.

Only thing to make note of here is if you made changes to the template in use and the files you modified werent in the template folder and you modified the default ones.
