Default Help after upgrading

Version 4.2.1 Designer

3 col

Hi there,

I am having problems with my website after upgrading for the last verision of v.3 (can't remember if it was 10?) to v.4.2.1. Having done so has rendered my own template useless, it shows up all wrong. Are templates different now?

Also so I could get my site online I have just applied the 3 col template. However, when I go to browse the site and click on the categories I get this error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/horse5/public_html/includes/classes/kernel/Categories.php on line 396

I am not great with this technical stuff so if anyone could please help get my site functional again, that would be great.

(Horse Shares UK)

Thank you!

P.S. I followed the upgrade instructions and did not upload the folders it said not to upload.

The template looks broken in Safari?

Have you gone into admin and checked the categories are all there?
