Default remove payment requests

What version of 68 Classifieds are you running?
v4.1.10 Developer

What template are you using?
Sigma-Silver

Please describe in detail the issue you are having:

Two things.

First, the ads are all free. I would like to remove any reference to payment during the ad creation process. I have hidden the payment items through css, but the drop downs still show up. So when you are adding photos, the Payment Method drop down shows up. How do I make it go away altogether?

Second, "Feature" category ads should last 180 days. After 3 days some of them are going inactive and asking for payment. I have to go in to modify ads and click save before they go active. How do I make it stop doing this?

If your ads are free, then they shouldnt be prompted for payment at all. Second I dont understand what you mean by "feature" category. You have a category called "featured? or are you talking about the option to make an ad "featured". I suggest double checking you ad packages and making sure the proper expiration dates and prices are set.

"Feature" is an ad package. The price is $0.00.

Can you be more specific on what I should check or change? Only some ads are going inactive and asking for payment.

Without meaning to be direct you can find out the answer to many of your questions by reading a little more. If you look in the instructions supplied it tells you how to suppress steps in the quick checkout module. You need to modify the config file. Many questions you are asking are covered in the documentation supplied by 68 classifieds and TemplateCodes.

* Skip the verification of the users billing information "Y" or "N"
*/
$data['module']['skipBilling'] = "Y";

/**
* value entered for defaultGateway below. "Y" or "N"
*/
$data['module']['skipGateway'] = "Y";

/**

Secondly, featured ads are no different form other ads. The expiration is the same as defined for the base ad package you are using where an advert can be featured. Featured applies to your ad package like an addition/enhancement.

Of course it would certainly help the rest of us if we knew this was specifically in reference to a 3rd party product as well.

I love it how requests for help with hold all sort of important details but the one with the problems asks for more specifics.

As I have always said "incomplete help requests get incomplete answers".

So it isn't included with the theme specified in the first post? No matter, it's sorted out now. Thanks for your helpful comments.
