Default Error Pending approval

What version of 68 Classifieds are you running?
v4.1.10 Developer

What template are you using?
3col

Please describe in detail the issue you are having:
Have purchased membership module and it is activated. All working fine except when a live ad is placed and the paypal process has gone through, the user is redirected to my site but an error message is displayed thus: Error Pending approval.
I can see that the membership has been purchased via admin, but I have to manually approve.
Is there a setting that I need to put in place? I have set 'admin manually approve' to 'no' in the checkout settings so am kind of at a loss as to what could be causing this.

In addition, not sure if this is a membership module issue or just a 68 issue so am posting here first before contacting support for the membership module.

Any help appreciated.
Many thanks

The membership module uses the default 68C payment methods, would you be able to try and purchase an ad via paypal (a user without a membership) and see if normal ad placement using paypal works? That may help isolate the issue.

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, have deactivated membership module and went through the process and still get the error message.

On paypals site, do you have paypal set to use IPN and do you have the field asking for page set to receive htm posts set properly? ie http://www.yoursite.com/paypal.php

Can you double check you do not have "auto return" turned on in paypal. I have seen this cause problems before.
