Default Pedegree Yes/ No

Hi Larry,

Is it possible to make the Pedegree in Step3 as a {if} or as a
Extra option"Yes/No" if "Yes" show pedegree options if "No" don't show pedegree options?
So that people can choose to insert the data instead of
entering all of the pedegree options with "no pedegree" ?

Or is it the same as what we discussed with the possition of the
pedegree options in the step3 form...
Or that it's not possible to only do something with the pedegree options
because of the {$extra_listing_fields}...

Let me know,

Pieter, Im not sure I understand the question. If someone does not fill in the pedigree fields because they dont have it or know it, then the pedigree table should not appear in the listing. The module checks for content in the 2 parent fields (ie sire/dam or what have you) and if they dont contain data the module doesnt show the tree in viewlisting.

There is no reason you have to have your extra fields set to be required.

If you have a site where you are going to allow people to turn on/off the pedigree then you are obviously allowing them not to display one so why have the extra fields that hold the pedigree data set to be required?

Sorry to butt in here but do you mean that a user ticks a box and if he does the module shows otherwise it does not show?
