Hi, I just launched my site built from the 68C platform. Please take a look and let me know what you think - thanks!

I think the design is slick and cutting edge - probably one of the most heavily modified and visually appealing 68C sites out there! Of course, I designed it (with input from Carlo), but still, I'm entitled to an opinion...

For all you public safety people, including law enforcement, fire and rescue, and ems personnel looking to sell your used equipment online, 911 Classifieds is the place!

Way to go Carlo on a successful release!

Very nice site. It runs quickly and has a nice overall clean feel to it. Well done.

I was having one issue though. In the top right hand corner of your header where the login is. Just under that, there is a thick light blue line. As I mouse over it, and horizontally under the login the cursor changes to the hand pointer indicating a link. There are links, but no text and what was a white background continues the thick light blue line only on mouseover. I am using Safari (v3) on a Mac. (Safari is standards based)

Mike, that's strange you are seeing that. I've got Safari 3.1.2 on my Mac and the site looks fine. What version are you running? Maybe you could post a screenshot or I can try http://browsershots.org

Fortunately, less than 1% of our users so far are using Safari according to our stats. But still, it would be nice to get to the bottom of this...

Thanks,
Jonah

Here's a cropped window capture. Again, when I mouse over near that thick light Blue line, more of the line becomes visible and there are clickable links, (categories, checkout, etc.) but there is no text.

I'm using Safari (v3.1.2) on Mac OS X v10.5.4, the latest and the latest.

Very odd. I've got the same configuration - Safari 3.1.2 + OSX 10.5.4 and have no issues with the site.

Default Thanks!

Thank you Mike and Chaslie for your compliments, I do appreciate it! Kudos to Jonah of Jonah Coyote Design also. Jonah has been phenomenal to work with and has created exactly what I was looking for in a site, using the 68C script. Thanks again for the feedback gentlemen!
