What I am looking for

HI

I am looking for a design that will enable me to setup the following features:

Register users
allocate them space for own profile
let them add pictures and video
forum
email to other members
add links
charge users for adverts
charge users for video space
charge users for picture space
sell advertising to outside sources
customise the site look
search facility within the users profile area
link same user type together

and lots more as it comes to me.

68C would form a solid base for this but some customization would be inevitable. These points would specifically require development on your part.

forum - what support are looking for? There is nothing to stop you putting a link anywhere in your site to a 3rd party forum script.

sell advertising to outside sources - there is nothing to stop you selling advertising space on your site and manually placing it or you could seek to integrate an ad management script. Many people use highly automated systems though like google adsense and open X.

Search facility within the users profile area - if you mean normal search but placed in a profile (viewmember page) then you would need to use a 3rd party search module which is available or develop the facility.


I suggest you spend time reading the copious amounts of 68C documentation, look through this forum and also see what 3rd party developers offer.
